So I read Vol. 1 Chapters 1 and 2 of From Five to Nine and found that they changed a number of events or circumstances and some characters, the latter being both the personality and the persona. It makes sense though because there are scenes not suitable for J-Dramas with an idol as lead character, especially one from JE. Besides, it wouldn't be nice to portray someone particular on TV having done something very non-conservative.
It makes me wonder if they suited the 'new' plot or story to the casts. I was thinking that the production management already had, either or both, Yamashita Tomohisa and Ishihara Satomi as the lead characters of this J-Drama.
