I can't wait for Quanzhi Gaoshou season 2! I want to see Ye Xiu again, to watch Lord Grim battle again. I hope they release it soon. I enjoyed the anime/donghua as much as I did with the live action C-Drama The King's Avatar.
EDIT: It's interesting how Yang Yang and Zhang Jie, the seiyuu of Ye Xiu in the donghua, have similarities in their voices. Although, if I remember correctly, it was the seiyuu's voice used for the character of Lord Grim in the live action drama they went the extra mile to dub the live action actors with the donghua's seiyuus. No wonder when I watched the donghua, the voices were so familiar.
For season 1, besides Ye Xiu, I think my other favourite character is Guo Guo. I like her in the donghua more than I like Su Mucheng in the live action drama. I'll have to wait for season 2 to see their character development, if it'd be the same.
