Hiroshima no Pika. This was my first Japanese book,first Japanese book, which I got when I was 5 or 6 years old. I understood no word from the book but my innocent heart kind of understood.
I still remember some of the photos, especially the cover. Most especially, I still remember the title of the book though I didn’t know what Hiroshima no Pika meant. It’s only after 20 years that I’ve known what it means. That explains the name of Pikachu.
I wonder where my book is now. Well, most likely it’s in Davao. I’d like to retrieve it. Or, I can just buy a new one.
