Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

Finally watched the film. Wasn’t able to do so when it was out in theatres because I was pretty busy. Better late than never.
What can I say? I liked it. Oh, I love the close-range hand to hand combats. And if I make a distinction to Brandt, I may be accused of prejudice, which I am guilty of. I don’t know. There was something with how he disassembled the gun, with how he immobilized an enemy. Perhaps his role with from Hurt Locker helped. But no, that film did not require him to knock down an enemy most of the time but to detonate home-made bombs.
Tom Cruise, I must say was smooth with his character. Due credit to his talent and experience. Dunn, on the other hand, was one particular character. It was amusing. Jane Carter? Femme fatale! I’d like to imagine her having a vis-a-vis “combat” with Romanoff. Interessante.
By the way, when I first saw the city “credit” of the film, I could feel my mind blown away. Madre mia! BUDAPEST. What if Clint Barton was actually William Brandt? Hahaha!
Oh yeah, it did catch my eye how a simple analyst could do what Brandt did inside the hotel room when the “Assassin” ordered for his death. How on earth?
I like Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol because it had a plot and it was not just about running around, fighting the enemies, and what else. But of course, I prefer something that appeals to my mind.
